Divya Kohli

Mindfulness Teacher, Mentor and Yoga Teacher

Divya’s aim is to help individuals and communities find ease in life. Through teaching, mentoring, facilitating and writing, she seeks to present with integrity and make meaningful and helpful, mindfulness and yoga in our modern age.

She is an accredited Mindfulness Facilitator and MBSR (Mindfulness for Stress Reduction) Teacher, and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Mindfulness (awarded by MIND).

Divya is also an advanced accredited Yoga Teacher (International Yoga Alliance). Her yoga teaching centres on quiet practices that calm the mind as well as balance the energy of the body.
She came to Yoga and Meditation in 1999. She has continued training and study, as well as practice since then.

Since 2018 Divya has offered Mindfulness practice and Meditation as stand-alone practices to support people’s mental wellbeing, and help people find purpose, clarity and connection in this modern world.

Divya offers group mindfulness classes, workshops and retreats, as well as private (one to one) mentoring. She teaches in workplaces, in centres, studios, in nature and online.
She says, “Mindfulness, for me, is everything: a way of thinking, feeling, being and existing in the world. There is never not a moment when dropping into mindfulness cannot benefit the heart, the mind and restore some sense of peace inside, even in really difficult situations. I offer Mindfulness so that people can experience all of this for themselves.”

A former newspaper journalist, and with an MA in English from Cambridge University, Divya has a continued deep passion for writing and is a published author. Her book, Finding Peace in Difficult Times, was published by Watkins in 2021.
