Claire Thomas
Mindfulness Teacher
Claire is a mindfulness teacher and executive coach with a background in consulting, leadership development and workplace wellbeing. She is a qualified mindfulness teacher with Mindfulness Now and is currently completing a Master of Studies in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at the University of Oxford.
Before moving into teaching mindfulness, Claire worked in consulting roles supporting organisations through change, insight and development. This experience informs her teaching, bringing a practical understanding of pressure, performance and the realities of modern working life, alongside a compassionate and reflective approach.
In addition to her consulting background, Claire also had a career as an interior designer and has a longstanding love of creativity. She is particularly interested in the relationship between mindfulness and creativity, and how mindful awareness can soften habitual, driven modes of mind, creating space for imagination, insight and more embodied ways of knowing.
Claire teaches mindfulness because of its profound impact on her own life, relationships and wellbeing. She is passionate about sharing mindfulness as an accessible, evidence-based practice that helps people relate differently to difficulty, step out of unhelpful reactive patterns, and cultivate greater clarity, self-compassion and connection in everyday life.
